patch for stuttering end menu too slow

the game has stuttering almost everywhere, the settings menu takes 10 seconds to start and between one area and another it stutters heavily for a few seconds (I'd say it's time to make a patch, right?

Are you playing with Controller on PC?
I had the same problems, then i switched to Keyboard & Mouse and no more Stutterin the first 2 hours.

yes I use the xbox controller after the nvidia update the game has improved drastically there is still some lag here and there during some boss effects but overall it is almost perfect now

It really is stuttering with Xbox controller enabled, I have the newest Nvidia drivers. Well gonna play on mkb for now.

Strange... I use an 12700 paired with a 4080. Gaming on 1440p with everything on cinematic and RTX on max.
FPS between 85 and 100 in some locations but mostly steady 85.

so... yep... since you know what his gfx-card is it must be a bug on my end.

And that proofs what exactly? Every PC is different, there isn't just a GPU but also SSD, RAM and very important the CPU (even temps/air flow are important). You will get bad performance when the rest of the components is very old and not recommended but every PS5 has the same build and because of that this game will run like crap on every console. If I look for proper PC set ups on youtube I don't see where a 4090 PC (with good other components) has FPS goes down to 40.

You are not just a clown but the entire circus at this point.

PS: Feel free to show me such videos where a 4090 with good other components goes down to 40.

I can second this, updating my nvidia driver made the game start stuttering mainly at the first try of every boss. Gonna revert now to see if it fixes it

With a detailed game like this and Denuvo, the majority of folks should have expected stuttering.

Confirmed! Rolling back the nvidia drivers fixed the stuttering completely for me. Running a constant 100fps on a 4070ti 7800x3d rig during a big boss fight with a whole lot of effects going around the scenery

If it helps, the only solution I've found to make the game feel good with the controllers is to activate FrameGeneration. Even having FPS to spare above 60, without the FrameGeneration + FSR (I have a 3000 series and it comes capped) it feels horrible, looking at the MSI Afterburner graph the FrameRate was the Andes mountain range, with the FG a plain at 16ms.
