Winding Wind (stance skill) does not work

After "seeing through the enemy" by doing a Y attack during your X combo, youre supposed to be able to then do an X combo that from what I gather, starts your X combo from its 3rd attack instead of having to start from the 1st attack, but it simply doesnt work and always starts from the first attack. Am I missing something here or is this skill just not working

Hi Shade, I am noticing the same thing. As far as I can tell, your suppose to heavy attack during a light attack combo and spend at least one focus point, which is suppose to cause the attack that gives you the "see through" mechanic, then after the heavy attack, a light attack should start from the 3rd combo, but no matter how much I test this, I can not get it to work.

From what I can tell, the see thru is supposed to happen specifically during an enemies attack. Gonna be hard to learn the timing if it isn't broken, because the game seems to have an input delay kind of thing going on that is hard to get used to.

it only works if you actually got hit by enemy during the perfect parry window(the effects make it obvious and you take no damage).


The 2nd stage heavy attack doesn't have such issue.
This is monster hunter longsword mechanic.
