Game has locked to chinese language by default

I opened the game, it was in chinese, I found out location where we can change the language, but its locked for me. Any other way to change the language?

Language can only be changed in the title menu, not while you're ingame.

Even in the title menu, it is locked. I didnt even start the game.

Did you buy your steam key from third party website?

Nope, I bought it directly from steam, no third party. I opened the game, wanted to change the settings, but its all in chinese. The language option is locked for me. Is there any way to force change in any game file?

Can you post a screenshot here, it's super rare to see the language option is locked out, maybe you selected the wrong one, who knows, see if we can help you with that, I am Chinese

There is GameUserSettings.ini under

AppData\Local\b1\Saved\Config\Windows

but I couldn't find anything that lets you change the languages.

This is screenshot, I watched a youtube video to find the setting, but its showing lock sign for me. Only text is locked

You probably have set the visibility of your screenshot to private because no one can see it.

The fix is simply play intro part, then go to main menu -> settings -> change language (it's unlocked now)

Mine came up in English. Did you buy it with your location as China. If you did that of course its chinese.
