I wasn't expecting it to run but it ran pretty decent! I capped it at 30fps and did the first hour of the game. Not perfect but its good enough for me when i am in bed or on the go for a game that looks this gorgeous. Stoked it actually runs and not to bad either :)
Just make sure to start it up in Game mode and not the steam os mode. Other than the shader loading the first time I started it, I didn't have any other issues, was smooth enough for the combat for me.
-dx11
into launcher cmd which forces the game to run dx11 if it wasn’t already for your system.
All I can say is I’ve playing extensively on my Legion Go after testing it on Asus Ally but with a bit less performance yield. Using custom 30w profile on my Legion Go can do 800p, TSR/XeSS 100% low-med settings and average ~50fps without frame gen. On Ally 900p ~40fps TSR/XeSS 66%.
You want to avoid FSR @ 800p as image quality is the worse.
Which steam deck do you own? I just recently ordered the 1tb OLED and if you have that one I'll save my money
