RX 7900 XTX Yet keeps crashing

I have this running on an updated RX 7900 XTX and I can't even get past the first cutscene without it crashing over and over again. I've tried lowering the graphics and capping the framerate but nothing works.
I can't be the only one with good hardware having this issue.

No luck with a AMD 6950XT ether. In fact it crashed so hard that bugged my drivers lagged my net browser and made other games that ran perfect on Ultra Highly not run tell I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Tell the Devs fix it best to stay away from if you have a AMD Video Card.

All I did was use "compatibility mode" when launching the game, then went into settings and turned vsync on. Why this works I have no idea. Never had to downgrade I'm on the latest amd gpu driver. Also I am using FSR at 100% but frame gen off (not sure if that matters or not, frame gen gave me weird textures so).

Use DDU in safe mode to do a full wipe of your drivers, just make sure once you do that when you reboot you already have the latest gpu drivers downloaded to click on them fast on reboot. Get DDU from Guru3D

I have tried everything, almost 4 hours and nothing worked. But I finally found a solution, I've removed the steam overlay and forced the game to run in DirectX11 by adding the prompt " -dx11 " hopefully it will help someone else here.

if your crashing try verifying files

Delete Benchmark Save and Data

AppData\Local\b1 and delete it to regenerate ini and shaders

I was crashing at launch on a 7900XTX and now I have been able to boot np on 24.7.1

I don't have the game right now but I have a 6900 and nearly every unreal engine 5 game crashed after some time and others too. What fixed all my game problems was deactivating the xmp profile in bios. I never had any crashes after this. No game patch helped me. I did undervolting and everything. Only deactivating XMP (the ram overclocking profiles) stabilised my pc and I also can overclock cpu and graphics card now. Maybe this helps you.

There's a wierd ghosting effect on the character (even without FSR and frame gen), i still don't know if it's just me or it's a common problem. Bit it can easly be ignored.

Bought the game. Also crashed multiple times. First at shader compiling and afterwards always at the end of the first fight. Did the same as many others and fixed framerate to 30 and low settings. Also compatibility mode in the starting options and that worked. After the fight I resetted everything to ultra and no crashes no more.

7900 xtx here and was using 24.7.1... crashed repeatedly on opening cinematic and couldn't get past it. ran the AMC cleanup utility and installed version 24.5.1 and works now just fine.

All you have to do is run it at 30 FPS at low global settings in compatibility mode until the first save point and then you can crank it back up.

7900xt is having some issues with the latest software and this is a good work around. I had the same problem and it’s been gravy since.

Having the same issue. Have had numerous crashes over the past 3 days. I have tried a fresh install, lowering in-game graphics settings, and running in Windows 8 Comparability mode. Still crashes regularly

I never have problems with crashes in most other games unless I incorrectly mod them (Looking at you Skyrim)

AMD released drivers (24.8.1) 2 days ago, which were set to contain compatibility for Wukong and CoD BO6 Beta. Apparently there were a bunch of issues with the new drivers so they got reverted and the download page removed. AMD has yet to release an update/comment.

As far as I understand we just have to wait for AMD to release updated and working drivers.
