You get to the main menu and hit New Journey and then the menu options go away and Wukong is still standing there but nothing happens.

I was simply trying to run a benchmark first and it exits to desktop everytime, so I'm verifying files and trying again..

after compiling shaders before the menu the game closes

It's not launching. I click on the game in my steam library, it says its running and gives me an option to stop it and then it just crashes before even getting into the game. I'll try to start the game again, rinse and repeat. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

In hindsight I should install it... Hah anyway...

Have you run ddu and done a clean GPU driver install recently? I dunno what other apps you usually run but hardware monitors can sometimes help tell where the issue is happening even if you can necessarily fix it but if the game is still running (animation at the menus running and no not responding win errors) but not doing anything besides being stuck there... It could be a bug but that would be a pretty huge bug and most likely effect almost everyone...

If I find anything and it hasn't been answered yet I'll post back soon..

Maybe I am the only one having this problem and misunderstood. But just in case, second startup it worked.

Facing same issue. Compatibility mode (which they suggested in the support page) also doesn't work. Ver. files and restarting PC also hasn't done anything. Is there anything else worth trying?
