Personal Information Protection Policy
Hi guys

Before you install the game, they required you to read the EULA. One of the article, 5.3, mentioned about Personal Information Protection Policy.

Where can I read more about that?

you can simply check out the official website, and it of course supports English language:

It's a Chinese game, different rules. You should worry more about gameplay.

Yeah, but I want to read the Personal Information Protection Policy. Any way I can read it before playing it?

None of their sites are in English.

Generally Personal Information Protection Policy is referring to how they'll handle the data they collect on you.

Within the context of a video game on PC the stuff they collect is pretty minimal and related to how your hardware handles the game. Mobile gaming is a different story.

Here's an example of one to get an idea, at least:

Valve can revoke your account for any reason.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I doubt Lord Gaben is this stupid but if he revokes my account for no apparent reason, be ready for a lawsuit.

@TarzanEng Please also note, as someone who is bilingual in both English and Chinese:

1 - English Privacy Policy in the game is not quite the same as the one you're given here at https://www.heishenhua.com/privacy/en.html

2 - The Chinese Privacy Policy in the game is near identical in content as the webpage at https://www.heishenhua.com/privacy/zh.html but I have little time to translate it to English. Perhaps someone enthusiastic can do that

3 - What you're reading from https://www.heishenhua.com/privacy/en.html is therefore the closest content to the Chinese version mentioned in item 2 above. You should base on that instead. It even talks about the part in Section 4 F you should take note of (Exceptions where prior authorization is required to share, transfer or disclose information)

(Can a content creator also pick this up here too?)

Here's the Personal Information Protection Policy as presented in game: https://i.imgur.com/eYO80mp.jpeg

Here's the Data Storage and Processing Agreement as presented in game: https://i.imgur.com/hlqI6zZ.png

I hate when they do this ♥♥♥♥ and make you read or Agree to pointless ♥♥♥♥ before you can play. 1) It's not like I'm not going to block the process from communicating with the Internet 2) It's not like they benefit from additional legal protection than the thousands upon thousands of Indie games out there that don't have an EULA at all.
