If it's anything like other Denuvo games it can be but eventually it needs to phone home which is why Denuvo is terrible for single player games.

It uses Denuvo, so I doubt it, as Lazy above me already said, it needs a connection to phone home from time to time.

I think yes. This is single game WE need just start the game 1 time to get Denuvo token on our PC and that's all...

I have 80-90 UBISOFT games and about 40 single's UBI games of them with Denuvo. After 1-st launch I can play without Internet.

All Assassins' games can be played w/o Internet in off line, just put UBI launcher OFF Line mode. - it is important!

The same for Steam ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

In last year My apartments was renovated for one month and here was no internet, but I played one month in Avatar Pandora without internet in offline mode ☝

In my experience you can play games with denuvo online you just cant play when the update realizes

I mean.. you can potentially play the game without internet but you better make sure cloud sync is disabled for the game else your save file will be on the cloud and not on your PC thus if you try to play the game without internet you will have to start over.

Yea that's the thing...if you never update the game it may in theory work indefinitely offline but I've never tested this so can't say for sure.
