I am responsible to tell you that the inspiration for the character Wukong in Dragon Ball comes from the Chinese Ming Dynasty novel Journey to the West. If you say that Wukong in this game plagiarizes from Wukong in Dragon Ball, it is equivalent to saying that the father looks like a son, which is a very unintelligent behavior.

This game is based on 16th century novel called "Journey to the West". Dragon Ball is inspired from this this novel. The Japanese name for Sun Wukong (protagonist of this novel and game) is Son Goku.
