14900k crashes
Any one on intel 14900k?

I tried several scenarios.

1- Ray tracing will never bypass the loading screen
2- Ray tracing off and cinematic setting will crash in the middle

I have 64G ddr5 ram and ROG nvidia 4090 gpu

Did you restart the demo after turning on ray tracing?

Yes whenever ray tracing is enabled.... it will not bypass the loading screen

A streamer was changing ray tracing settings without restarting the game and it was freezing on the loading screen.

When ray tracing takes effect(I mean change settings and restart), it will freeze :(

1. Update or reinstall the gpu driver.
2. Check your cpu stability, run some benchmarks such like cinebench to test your cpu stability.

If I were you I would find out where the wukong graphics file is at and delete it. Then check integrity of files on steam and try it again.

I did have to underclock my 13900k 200mhz to stop crashes. My problem solved by doing that.

And yayaya lets not go over the degrading 13th and 14th gen again.

Just go to the bios. If you don't want to waste time, open the intel default profile. You will lose some multi-core performance, but that doesn't make a difference to games, especially AAA games.

im using the AI overclocking which Asus provided

Didn't the more recent Intel CPU's have problems with degradation, resulting in program crashes?
Kevin Aug 16, 2024 @ 3:40pm
Nah just don't do it, it is killing your cpu.

P-core 5600mhz, E-core 4400mhz. Fixed cpu voltage mode with 1.3v, max and min ring set auto. I can't tell you more cause I am using gigabyte motherboard, but it should be similar.
