Benchmark performance seems poor
I don't think this game look good enough to be getting such low FPS without showing combat. With combat the fps is going to dip hard.

46 fps at native resolution with low RT
1440p
14700k
4070 ti super

Very high settings:

I am sick of games trying to use DLSS and frame gen to make the game run well when you lose so much in terms of image integrity. I know a lot of people can't tell the difference but a lot of us can.

Ray tracing conflicts with UE5 lumen. You need to turn it off.

I turned it off an turned graphics to cinematic and it was exactly the same fps.

When you turn off the RT you will need to restart the game. Also, do not push DLSS to 100, that is DLAA supersampling and will cause huge performance drop. leave it at 89.

I agree, but UE5 is trash, it requires a lot and delivers very little, so you are right, graphics are pretty ♥♥♥♥ for this game. Also, it won't get better and I mean for UE5.

The game looks much better with 100% res & without frame gen. i'll go with High Settings, Frame gen & RT off, 100% res DLSS, got about 85 fps with a 4080.
Coosmooss Aug 16, 2024 @ 12:06pm
if you don't have 3080 or above, just ignore the ray tracing
Naamtar Aug 16, 2024 @ 12:09pm
Seen people reporting that they got 70 FPS in the benchmark were getting dips to 40 in the actual game.

Try FSR 3 with framegen at quality (75%), keep everything on cinematic but lower shadow and global illumination to high or medium, try that, see if that's better for you.

I forgot to mention that benchmark felt really shady and scammy, it was completely empty, I saw what 2 NPCs walking ? Performance will be worse on launch

I did run the benchmark at 4k cinematic settings + ray tracing on, and also tested ray tracing off, you can see it in my video:

You have it already? It's not even out yet. Plus...there's a lot of idiots trying to sandbag the game for some reason. Mental illness, I guess.

Yep, the guy who gave it a perfect score in his review even mentions that he was averaging 30 - 45 FPS in his review.

Basically people should not get their hopes up and wait until they play the game.

Don't run it in 8K

Yeah, 5090's are gonna have trouble maxing this game out, period. However, if this is the new standard, it will have rock solid 100% scaled performance and have no FG and no DLSS by the 6090. Lol
