Low FPS?!
Is it normal to have 95-109 FPS max with a 4080 SUPRIM MSI? i did the benchmark and thats all i got, i just bought a new PC recently and i was expecting way more. Is it the Drivers? is it really the game? i heard rumours that the game is not that optimised.

Some people also told me that it also could be with some parked cores issues with the 7800X3D's hence why the low FPS.

These are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D CPU
Lian Li Galahad II Trinity AIO 360 SL-INF Cooler
MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI Motherboard
Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR5 Ram Kit (8GB x2)
MSI Nvidia RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB SUPRIM X Graphics
Crucial P3 Plus 2TB NVME M.2 SSD
Lian Li Vision Tempered Glass Black
Lian Li Triple Fan Pack w/controller

no this game is just really demanding . without frame gen, no raytrace, dlss 50(performance) i average low 80s on 4090 and 13900k. With frame gen its about 120.

if youre getting 95-109 max at 4k or dlss/fg disabled then it should be fine

Well then its not from my end, i was worried. Thank you very much for sharing your feedback, and you have a better setup than me! - I hope they can maybe optimise it for better FPS? is that even possible. Our PC's are not trash, we should be able to get more FPS imo.

How many more frames do you need? Low FPS makes it sound like you're getting 20.

Well i apologise, my english is not that good, might have used the wrong grammer. I just meant to say that i was expecting more than 120 fps.

It depends on your resolution and settings but let me tell you this on my 4080 in 1440p/dlaa/cinematic/rt on i've 27-31 fps xD

No prob, I got a new PC too and I was ecstatic to see it run at 4K 80 fps (frame gen+dlss)

I was hoping for this game have more FPS than you guys have shared. At the same time I feel at ease now because everyone seems to have the same fps outcome from this game.

120 fps for a current AAA game is very high. graphics keep improving, but hardware is running into power and heat limitations so newer games using newer techniques like frame gen and upscalers. At least these things work fantastic now and look like native. also at a certain point you run into CPu limitations, other use nice but less intensive graphic styles (like borderlands). games like pvp shooters can get higher because they make sure there is limited physics and calculations to do and usually there is no AI to manage and other CPU intensive activities. The important thing is that the variance stays low and no stutter. If the game runs similar to this for me relatively its perfectly fine. You want terrible, you go check dragon dogma 2, its in a similar range graphically, even lower, but runs terrible and stutters constantly due to the high variance in frame rate and cpu limitation. The problem is most people compare different games of different qualities and different types which have different needs.

why on earth would you be expecting more than 120 fps at 4k for a brand new AAA game? My guy is this your first game? This aint counter strike lmao.

my 7900 XTX got 100-120 fps with cinematic settings and frame gen, so good to hear amd is still in the game lol

this benchmark seems to have a memory leak or atleast some errors in the saving of settings.i ran the benchmark around 10 times with different settings i first get 50 FPS with all on highest setting with raytracing on max en with fsr and frame gen. then i changed resolution from 4k to 2k and all of a sudden with same settings i get 7 fps. changed it back to 4k and still get 7 FPS. A restart of the benchmark doesnt fix this. So somewhere in the software things are messed up. i hope its fixed in the full game... or else i will refund it. Its also strange the resolution cannot be changed from within the software and you need to change the system resolution to get a lower res in the benchmark. Also why isnt there a fullscreen option. only windowed and borderless.

This benchmark tool feels like alpha software or a bad beta. The water by the way looks like crap on all settings.

And last why cant we turn off any upscaling and run it native. This will fix the water problems. Upscalers cannot upscale water atm. it looks like crap.

Looking at the videos i had very high hopes. But running this benchmark on my pc with a RTX 4080 Super that runs this at 7 fps no matter what settings i change makes my wonder if i should skip this entirely

100-120 fps? Im running a 4090 and with everything maxed im getting low 80's. Which is plenty. How many FPS did you expect to get? The game still looks gorgeous, especially with the raytracing on, at 80-90 fps. If your actually getting that much, i wouldnt ♥♥♥♥♥.
