Stuttering with ray tracing (rtx 5080)
As the title suggests, I'm getting some severe stutter whenever I enable ray tracing. The frame rate is close to 100 with frame gen but there are some huge dips. This is present even with frame gen off and even at very low resolutions. Without ray tracing the game is buttery smooth. Any idea what I can do? It looks great with ray tracing!

Well that sucks, that can't be right
Have 4070 Ti and have no stutters. Clean you system!

I think the full RT-shaders are not precached, and also, the game will have some extra typical Unreal Engine 5 stutter.
Somewhere the game can be heavily CPU-bound for a splitsecond and that creates a huge stutter in Unreal Engine games.
It doesn't really show in the GPU usage, but it are short spikes of CPU dependancy.
The stutters will be less with faster CPU's, but unfortunately it's mainly an engine issue, so the only folk who would be able to solve this are experts in the field.

Ur 4070ti can't even run the game properly mate lol... you wouldn't notice anything because it's a blur to you
Epic have just released a statement they are looking to fixing this in UE5... witcher 4 devs are struggling with their game due to this.

It's the same with all UE5 games you just have to put up with it

Vsync On?
Or put monitor refresh rate to 60hz and turn on Vsync, so game and new drivers understand what they need to do.
