Where should I go after the tiger boss?

I've been kinda going blind into it and just beat the Tiger boss, I continued onwards but there seems to be a lot of mobs after him, is this the right way?

After you go through that bridge with the shield guy you end up with like 3-4 of those fast ninja enemies, is this the way?

This game has so many tiger bosses so this really hard to understand that particular tiger you about; if it tiger vanguard (in pools of blood) you need to kill stone golem boss also to follow chapter 2 storyline

Chapter two has more than one route to go. People who say this game is linear are lying. Feel free to explore now that there's a map. There's no "correct" route.
