Zodiac Village. I am unable to get access

I can not get the game to open up Zodiac Village. I have defeated Loong Chen on the beach, visited Xu Dong but have not been given the bone strengthening pellet or the recipe for the new potion. Back at Bitter Lake, Loong Chen has moved next to the fishing hut but when I talk to him nothing happens except his talking loop. I dont have the pig with me as I started up the mountain with him and he said he will meet me at the top.
Any suggestions?

Just to be clear. Have you checked back with Xu dog AFTER talking to Loong Cheng? iirc you need to talk to Loong Cheng first, then Xu dog, Then back to Loong Cheng.

same thing happen to me,just talk with everyone again

Go to Xu-dog and select the option "Talk". then come back to Shen loong's hut and interact with him
