I wanted to play as Wukong, but instead I ended up controlling a soulless, quiet, empty shell of a monkey one that looked like him but lacked any of his personality. By the end of the game, he even put the headband back on, making all my efforts feel meaningless. I heard they're developing a DLC, and I really hope we get to play as the real Wukong in that. The game was incredibly fun at first when I was playing as Wukong, but it became extremely boring after that.

there is a secret ending in the game that is activated after completing 4 secret areas and 1 quest in chapter 1, 2, 3 (quest), 4 and 5 and after that a boss in chapter 3 can be fought and after that will activate the secret ending once you defeat the broken shell again, even if the main character is not very fun the ending itself might be more satisfying
