Best weapon and armor for Chapter 6?

Ive defeated 2 bosses and using the yakshan armor + the yellow loong weapon. is there anything that I can improve

That depends. Is this your first playthrough? If it is, I wont spoil it but you'll get a better weapon and armor for beating upcoming bosses. If it is your 3rd playthrough, the most OP armor is hidden in a secret chest near the start of chapter 6. If you pair that with the dark iron staff you'll do insane amounts of damage.

ng -> wukong armor + his staff (or maybe Erlang spear)
ng+ -> bullking armor + dark iron staff
ng++ and beyond -> old wukong armor and dark iron staff

I combined cloud step & the pilgrims set the whole game. massive dmg which won nearly every fight. (except for Erlang)
