Looking for advice on yin tiger

So im at the point in chapter 3 where im in the zodiac village and able to challenge the yin tiger. I've faced him a few times already and i seem to be getting somewhere because the last time i fought him he was had at least (honestly estimating) 25 %of his health left but i cant seem to get him just yet. truthfully i had less of a problem with Cyan Loong the Apramana Bat and Cheng Loong put together. i read somewhere that it was recommended that players should go after the Green-Capped- Martialist is that what i should do? any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean in the painting area?
I just put on max armor in ng+ and it was done. Tried it also with ch3 level of equipment. It was hard
