is he beatable in chapter 3? or should i come for him after later chapters? also the game seriously need then run toggle and skip cutscenes

Definitely beatable, beat him at level 63 or something. He is pretty hard though.

You can hold E to skip many cutscenes, by the way, including the Yin Tiger's intro.

No farming needed, just explore and fight any bosses you meet.

You can skip cutscenes. Usually it's the interact button.

The tiger is beatable, I got him at 59 (basically as soon as I unlocked him), but it took a lot of tries and getting used to his attacks. One thing to watch out for is when he reappears, he has an attack where he does a roar and if you're close to him you end up getting grabbed instantly.

Beatable, but one of the hardest boss of the game if you try him at low level.

He get easy later on too, I am at NG+2 and he is not even an issue.

[Cloud Step]

Beatable. I beat him at Level 56 after 10-ish tries. It's like a dance, learn his attack movements.

Tip: Use Pluck of Many at start to build focus (if you have that talent) then use Immobilize to release Heavy Smash Attack at least 3 focus. Then followup by Wandering Wight spirit, then spam light attack.
Use Wind Tamer to disrupt his combos and spam Cloud Step to stagger

finally beaten him and twice too. not sure is it due to the game auto adjusted the difficulty when you dies too much? i use the pluck of many and heavy smash attacks. dodge still required but out of my surprised, Red Tides helps so much in dealing lots of burn damage. Cloud Step is also required especially when he disappeared and a bunch of leaves start dropping. that's the most dangerous where he will get close and auto-grab and possibly 1 Hit Kill if wukong's health is low.

When you beat Yin, hes one of the best training partners for learning timings of SeeThrough Parry, and Perfect-Dodge timing for delay-heavies nearly ALL bosses will abuse to death after Secret-boss, Yin Tiger.

So many bosses later on will fight just like him.

So challenging him and getting these Parries for invincibility frames correct will go a long way for later content.

You will become a true Buddah.

Most of these hidden boss are clearly easier to beat later when your character becomes stronger and gain better equipment, I think that's by intentional design, devs don't want you to beat them hastily. I fought Yin Tiger only once in CH3 and lost, later I went back to beat him during CH4 and it became much more easier, I beat him in just one round when I'm in CH4. So it's really no need to rush to beat them when you encounter them first time.

It greatly increases your melee martial prowess but forbid your from using any magic and transformation.

u max out whatever means to gain mana, including a talisman that add +30 max mana. (drop by the lighting caster at chapter 3 temple entrance)
go to 2nd last tier of spell binder skill tree that gives additional attack power based on the mana consumed.

You are banned from using any skills beside light and charged attacks.

kill it before your gourd runs out. As long as you can dodge about 80% of his attacks you should kill it very very quickly.

Also consider using the headgear that lets you dodge easier.
