how to get to the last boss in NG+?

I have beaten Erlang and have even redone the secrets of the previous chapters but seem to be locked out after beating Erlang from progressing. If I go to the waterfall cave to get the Jingubang staff (which I obviously have from my first playthrough), it doesn't proc the transition screen with the staff being shrunken and lifted from the ground which then opens up the path to recovery to the final boss. I am just seeing the staff stay in the ground and everything is blocked off. Help!

have you recollected all other armor pieces before you went behind the waterfall to get the staff in chapter 6? if not - its a requirement to get the armor, then the staff, then you proceed up the mountain.

I got the armor behind the first rest site that is the secret armor. Is there other that I need?

you mean the one in the chest hidden next to a tree at the very start of chapter 6? i dont mean that. its a nice addition but not necessary.

i mean you need to fight the bosses again (deer, mantis, big jumping bug, rhino), even though you already have the armor. when you done that you can go behind the waterfall again, to trigger the cutscene for the staff and be able to progress up the mountain.

OK. I honestly thought I fought more bosses in chapter 6 than my first run but maybe I missed one. I may have missed the deer now that I think about it so I will go check for that. Thank you.

OK. I honestly thought I fought more bosses in chapter 6 than my first run but maybe I missed one. I may have missed the deer now that I think about it so I will go check for that. Thank you.

there are a few more bosses in chapter 6, but they are all optional. the only ones needed to progress are the ones which you get the armor from which are the 4 mentioned bosses. im pretty sure you must have missed a boss if you fought a few of them already. just check there locations, should be a quick run down.
