just like monster hunter wild not planning to release switch version. i guss this kind of high demand game really need a dedicated mid to high end gpu to run it.
meanwhile, i did an elden ring playthrough and am doing a cyberpunk playthrough on deck, both of which are delightful... so...
u took out the " eye candy " part and play the game.
not getting money worth out of it
you can get pretty locked 60fps with the game still being very pretty:

not to mention all the visual effect r gone
u just cant link any low setting with the word "pretty".
The steamdeck certainly should have no business running this game. But with that in mind, it performs well enough for my expectation.
Run stable at 30fps with 720p, TSR, no frame-gen, low preset (except texture and shadow at mid).
Though it does struggle sometimes in the New West with heavy snow.
And I suppose a smoother frametime might help a bit on fighting Erlang :P
