(Solved) No rewards for defeating Yellow Loong

As the title states, i defeated yellow loong but didn't receive any materials after the fight, or even the transformation? Any help with this? Or did i miss something

as xengre pointing out in the comments, I went back to the fight location and hung around for a few minutes and the weapon appeared, and I now have the transformation!

Hope this post helps anyone else with this issue

ah damn, looks like i just have the materials i mentioned and nothing extra... its not possible to fight yellow loong before doing his quest is it? i didnt happen to beat him before completing something did i ?

okay i just beat duskveil and crafted the golden loong staff,but i do not see an upgrade path, does this seem correct?

if u already crafted golden loong staff, that means u defeated all 4 hidden loong
u should have dragon transformation by now.
if u dont, its bugged, its best for u to load old save file before u defeat yellow loong
that way u can get the transformation. unless u dont care, u can always get it again in NG+

i just got to chapter 5 and i defeated yellow loong soooo long ago, that going back now would negate so much progress :( looks like im gonna miss out on that particular transformation and / or weapon it may provide

Well tbh, if you do special things, you more than likely wont use the transformation anyways, and there are better weapons than the loong staffs. the special thing i mention does require the game to register that you killed yellow loong though, so hopefully it works for you.

They definitely want it if they want a powerful transformation. Golden Lining can literally 100%-0% bosses from what I've seen mentioned and a video demonstrating setting up the triple heavy nuke.

OP, from what I have heard the fix is to return to where you fought him and stand in that area for a couple of minutes and it will randomly be awarded multiple online comments suggest. If that doesn't work you could try walking around for a couple of minutes in circles while watching TV or something.

I don't believe this person saying that there was no rewards defeating Yellow Loong. There are just way too many noobs on this Stream forum, and they don't know what they're doing, what they're looking, etc.

ah, a proper suggestion! I will try this out when I hop back on the game, i just got to chapter 6 and realise i need a fireproof mantle so i need to go back to early chapters anyway to collect that. thanks for this, il let you know if it works!

I have the loong staff, which is not attainable without defeating yellow loong. so good attempt at rage baiting me dude, but no, im not a noob :) cheers for your helpful comment though angry little man who probably died 654 times to yellow loong. ( did it in 3 tries ;) )

Holy crap, walking around for a few minutes worked! The weapon appeared and i now have the transformation! Phew!

this doesnt work for ma tianba's whip if u already got it and lost the transformation after update

I just ran into this problem. I wanted to switch transformations to fight the Bishui golden eyed beast and it didn't show up. I went back and killed random enemies for 5 minutes and the staff showed up. Thanks.
