Raksha King
I know most people don't have too much issue with this boss but it's definitely been a tougher boss for me. Some of his sword attacks I am not sure how to defend against and they can take over 50% of my health. Some I try to jump but that doesn't work and even in pillar stance I cannot avoid them. Seems to have a lot of health and crazy damage. I actually felt Yellow Loong 4th fight was easier which most say is the hardest or one of the hardest in the game. Any tips?

To be honest, by the time I reached him, I was already very geared, wearing armor with high defense. Have you upgraded your armor?

Yeah I would say I have good gear. It's definitely an issue of skill or poor build quality I'm sure. I'm using the centipede armor set with one piece set at mythical. I'm using fully upgraded pluck of feather and moderately full immobilize. My points are in smash stance despite using the loong staff as I don't like pillar but it's still the best damage for me currently. I use the weaving needle, wondering wight spirit upgraded. But the damage is pretty low. If I kinda just go all out, he's maybe 60% drained after my best spells are used and I was mostly able to get through entire fights before this.

If your damage is low, are you using a mythical-tier weapon? I wasn’t using any specific strategy on him, just the basic immobilize with Golden Loong Staff, Cloud Step to charge weapon focus. I had some bad dodges, but I wasn’t losing much HP when I was hit.

You could also use Celestial Medicine to boost your defense at Xu Dog, the stats are easy to cap.

yeah I am gonna go respec my mind core, that is a good idea. I have really slow played the game and I think I have almost everything one can have at this point. I am using the mythical Loong Staff I just got and one part of a mythical armor. In fairness I haven't been bashing my head against the wall but I have not had a hard time in maybe 20 bosses. So the fact I have lost pretty easily the first 6 of them just doesn't seem to track when I found out Loong is considered the hardest boss. He definitely was difficult but I felt way closer to beating him in the times I lost compared to this guy. Time to respec my stats I suppose.

Oh wow I didn't know this is the last boss of chapter 5 lol. That may explain it. I haven't even done the secret stage so I got to do some stuff beforehand I guess.

Once you get your defense high enough, you'll be able to take a few boss hits in a row and still recover. You can also spend sparks on the defense stats as well. There's also medicine buff you can chug in the fight. I am sure you'll get him easily next time.
