Is celestial lotus seeds a permanent or temporary item?

I see that you can buy or held more than 1.

But it only allows you to equip 1, so im a bit confused if how this works or why can you held more than 1. Is this a temporary item only or it is permanent? Thanks!

It is a permanent item, there can be more than one because you can have multiple Wine Item Slot
