Lost all saves and my game progress rolled back to 2 days ago

Just playing this game from Internet cafe and today I try to play on a different PC, press Cloud sync before joining this game and taadaa... My save went back to exactly 2 days ago.

There should be a backup folder for saves in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved\SaveGamesBackup. Just pick the save file pertaining to the right time and date stamp and copy it back into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved\SaveGames\76561198037892759 (your number for this folder may vary, so double check).

Checked and it (SaveGamesBackup and sub-folders) were totally empty ones.

Damn. I am really sorry to hear that. I can only say that I am always paranoid about these things, especially if I am playing across multiple different devices like you are (internet cafe, etc.). I would always back up the save files to USB or non-Steam cloud as well (Google Drive, One Drive, PCloud, DropBox, etc.). Steam cloud is messed up sometimes when playing across multiple PCs.
