Who is the really big guy from the intro? The 1 with the elephant head on his stomach. I thought we would also fight and kill him like we did the 4 kings, but no. He doesn't come out anymore. Come to think of it in the intro when they all attack Wukong he is no longer there.

when you see a ribbons that goes around the figure, it usually means he is a god in chinese culture. demon usually dont have that symbolism.

i actually have no idea who that is as there is just too many chinese god that even i as a chiense never knew anything about but i remember seeing a statue of a god with elephant armor in temple before..

my family only worship, Buddha, Guan Yin, Guan Yu, Earth God (in the game known as keeper), Kitchen god, Heaven God (Tien Shen or Sky God, this is referring to all the gods in heaven) and our ancestor.

We also used to worship Wukong and Nazha, but stopped once me and my sister has grown up... apparently you can just stop worshiping god if you dont need their blessing anymore.

Thank you for sharing. I never really bothered to now the names of the gods from that pantheon. I'm gonna have to start now.

hes also a god from celestial court, I dont know how to say his name in english but its kind of Titan. no matter in the game or the original book, he has a strong appearance but thats all, in the book, the first time Wukong fight against the celestial court. he is the first guy to challenge Wukong, and he failed so badly than anyone else next. so i guess maybe thats some sort of respect to the book, cause he is too weak to make people happy of defeating him XD.

and correct you, you didnt kill the four kings, these gods from celestial court, they dont relly die.

Some say he is Guanyin and some say he is just an old monkey.

I was referring to the post chapter 3 scene actually.
As for the old money, he’s full of shxt so the only regret I have is not being able to beat the shxt out of him. Lol
