many of its attack are average speed attack which u can fill in 1 light attack in every gap

only the combo finishing move which are usually delayed which u can attack twice or count extra second in ur heart before dodging/ counter

Chances are you haven't gotten a plug of many skills yet, try to go around, kill the stone vanguard, follow the path to get a pluck of many, it'll make your life easier.

I defeated tiger vanguard without a plug of many though.

Tiger vanguard is my favorite boss. I died like 20 times against him. And I used him to familiarize myself with the game mechanics. Resolute strike, perfect doge, dodge heavy, audio cues...
And when I beat him, I beat him with full health and no skills used.

No other boss demanded that many deaths of me xD

I just beat Scorpionlord (after 50+ tries). Looking back. Tiger Vanguard was a cake walk.
