All bosses are easy on NG+. I can guarantee that you'll defeat him in less than 3 attempts.
That's not what I asked. What I asked is whether I should do what I did for regular NG, which is this:
> Final boss for regular ending
> Secret bosses required for good ending
> Final boss again for good ending
Or if I should:
> Secret bosses immediately
> Final boss for good ending and ignore regular ending altogether for NG+ runs.
I'd skip the bad ending if I were you.
You get the 6th and final end-of-chapter animation when you beat the final boss after the secret bosses. There's no extra phase though or anything. Do keep in mind that most of the original 'bad ending' also plays first before it the good ending stuff starts happening (in case you're wondering if it's working after beating the final boss again).
Edit:
Okay, actually maybe you don't need to do final boss twice. Polygon reports:
"(Update, Aug. 26: An earlier version of this guide suggested you need to defeat the final boss before unlocking Mount Mei. You only need to defeat the final boss after completing all of the other objectives listed in this guide, including unlocking Mount Mei. But also, we’d recommend seeing the “original” ending before chasing down the secret ending, so if you haven’t done so yet, go ahead and beat the final boss.)"
