Sole remigration pill not working on final boss

I wasted my last 2 pills on the last boss. Both times i died and it just transported me back to the shrine and the fight just started over.

Are you certain you used it and weren’t interrupted?

Small helpful tips, you can use it from the menu during combat. Pause the game, go to the menu, and consume it there.

I used it uninterrupted not even 30 seconds before death and was sent back to the shrine and this isn't the first time it happened I've wasted half my pills over 3 playthroughs bc the pills don't work

long time as the description states isn't much, I used it in combat and it expired, or maybe does it get cancelled if you transform?

transformation cancel all your current effect.

Then maybe you would think that they'd tell you this little bit of detail before wasting so many of Soul Migration Pills and wondering why they aren't working, huh?!? 😒😔
