Monkey king don't need to steal the potion of being less skillful, and wukong was a champion for the weak and a protector for those who couldnt protect themselves.
you know why? because a boss doesn't have resource management. the player does.
nice try though. boss doesnt have to gen focus like the player, doesnt have to use mana or worry about stamina.
yet the boss is more skillful? because when we both do a lvl 4 charge attack his manages to extend higher than mine and hits me because of height advantage?
all this teaches me is that you could never do better than me if you had the same abilities.
the boss has to cheat to win.
its a doppleganger fight and the excuse you have is "he can use these abilities because he had them first". naw. thats a "here fight a stronger version of you".
did you miss the whole point of the story? the whole idea is that you are the mind of the monke king reborn, he is a mindless dead husk. he should be pure instinct.
its an example of the cycle of life, passing your gifts onto your child by sending them on a journey where they encounter trials they overcome as you did before them.
it's about passing the torch.
If he cannot beat me without using abilities i cannot. then why would he ever be better than me?
The shield is weak against the fan vessel and staff spinning attack (the one that deflects range attack). I save the fan for his second phase. Later phase, he will redirect your immobilize back to you so becareful. He is also weak to elements once the shield is down. I used poison.
this will help low skill player survive wukong broken shell fight. (armor give super heal in water)
Cool story, the thing that works on shell also works on erlang, who can be basically trivialized with a 60 point build.
I hope you beat Erlang I found him frustrating at first.
In his second half of his fight before you get to fight him in the sky don't try and immobilize him he will usually turn it in on you and I found using the rock face transformation I think it is called Azure Dust (where you do head butts) he won't try and pull you out of the transformation like a lot of the others he just talks to you letting you get close and smack him with it
If you are also using A pluck of many combine it with the Cloud Step ability as he will go attack it letting you use A pluck of many without interruption
Anyway good luck
I can see this game will be gamer of the year.
