Black screen but game still running with sound. How to fix?

I've been getting a black screen where the game is still going and there's sound..im just not getting any visuals. Its not my monitor cause I can access my monitor's settings and everything else. Because I absolutely can't do anything when this happens because I can't see...Im forced to reset my PC each time this happens. Has anyone else been experiencing this and if so, did you figure out a fix?

I updated the driver. Still the same issue

I unplugged my monitor and plugged it back in. Each time it does this, this seems to work

I disabled my windows task bar from auto hiding. It seem to be working for me so far. Hope it works for you.

I've been experiencing this since past few days, mainly when i played this game and GOW Ragnarok. This is definitely a driver issue, not a hardware issue. You can try following ways to fix the problem"

1. Update the GPU and MOBO drivers to the latest drive. (This seems to work for me for 2 days now). Make sure your MOBO is up to date
2. Or you can try clean installing a GPU driver from June or below. This also works for me for a few gaming session
3. Try to verify your game files on steam
4. Or try to change your GPU pin connector cable from the PSU.

Can't guarantee this will help, but some of the solutions i mentioned above really helped me.
