Lantern Warden Achievement

Hello there. Just a quick question. So in Chapter 3 I killed like 2-4 Lantern Wardens and then I killed the Captain Wise Voice Boss. After that I killed some more Lantern Wardens (I didn't count how many).

So I read afterwards that you are supposed to kill Captain Wise Voice AFTER you defeated all (9) Lantern Wardens and then that would net you an Achievement and Curio.

The thing is: I actually (apparently) killed all 9 Lantern Wardens AND got the Curio but I didn't get the Achievement and also every 3 Minutes the "Debuff Thing" still spawns but there are no more Lantern Wardens. Did I break something in the Game? Is this a bug? Is there a way to still "force the Achievement out" in this playthrough?

Any help is appreciated!

Huh that’s weird, seems like a bug. You shouldn’t be getting the debuff after beating Wise Voice. You could go back to an older save, before encountering the boss and wardens?

Afaik the debuff thing should not happen anymore when captain wise voice is defeated.

Lantern guys will stop spawn after you killed boss in tower. You need to kill 9 DIFFERENT wardens. One of them in kinda secret spot

Thank you all for the answers. Unfortunately I don't have a "previous save", guess I just have to do it in NG+.

As I wrote in my Post: I killed 2-4 Lantern Wardens, then I killed the Boss and then the other ones still spawned. I got the Curio just not the Achievement. I know where the 9th Lantern Warden was. He gave me the Curio.

Nono you don’t have to do that, you have hourly backup files saved and can roll back in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved

A little Side note. I thought that an Achievement should've popped up (Voice Vanquished) but from what I read this is an unmissable Achievement. Can anyone confirm that after killing the 9 Guys that there is an Achievement for that?

You should get voice vanquished for defeating captain wise-voice.

There is no achievement for killing all the lanterns, aside from it being a part of the full curio collection achievement.

Then I guess my Achievements are actually bugged, because I didn't get the Voice Vanquished Achievement even though Captain Wise-Voice is dead and strangely I still got the Curio after defeating the Captain and then the rest of the Lantern Dudes.

For killing 9 lantern you get Auspicious Lantern curio (no achievement) but is imp. If you are completing the game 100%

Okay, uh, did they completely remove this Trophy/Achievement?

"Voice Vanquished" I mean.

Cause I've been over the trophy list on my PS5 like 8 times and no such trophy exists. I didn't get any trophy for beating this boss.
