ScorpionLord didn't drop DeathStinger

When I went to the final Boss of Act 4 secret zone Duskveil, at Purple Cloud Mountain , ScorpionLord appeared and "helped" me kill it. As I killed both Bosses, at the end I received a lot of items but, not the DeathStinger. Is this normal?

Same thing happened to me. You engage Duskveil, ScorpionLord comes in to help you (only once PER PLAYTHROUGH, same as with the spiderladies on the last boss), i killed Scorpion, and you don't get the item to craft his chest.

I'm pretty sure I got my deathstinger from the Scorpion Prince (one that you also get its spirit from) in Verdure Bridge in the main area of Chapter 4.

Sure, you have to beat him "alone" to get his stinger.
He chill somewhere, drunken on a small pagoda...

You have to fight Scorpionlord alone before fighting other boss of purple mountain if you want the deathstinger reward. He will be at Bounds of Deity's Abode shrine on a roof drinking.

Same thing happened to me. How are we expected to know that we have to find the scorpion first to get this item? It's frustrating.

In my case, when I reached the Scorpionlord fight location, so I didnt fight him and went further to next boss. So the Scorpionlord appeared and help me to kill him but died also. I got all the loot including Deathstingef, but when I came back to Scorpionlord fight location, he didnt appear

u need to kill scorpian at his wine shop to get it. it doesnt give u that in duskveil's battle

Scorpion Lord is locked out if you killed the final boss in the area. You have to do NG+ if you want to fight Scorpion again.

Scorpion Lord is locked out if you killed the final boss in the area. You have to do NG+ if you want to fight Scorpion again.

What is actual loot from him? Any chance that I earn the loot from killing him from final boss?

The deathstinger material which is used to craft the chest of the insect armor is the biggest thing.

Were you able to upgrade the Venomous Armguard? It's part of the set.

Don't think they are able to be upgraded unfortunately.

I killed scorpionlord alone but still didn't get deathstinger. Can someone help?

well when you first go to scorpiolord when he tells you to not touch his pots and if you break pots there then he will start attacking and then if you kill the scorpiolord he should give you the deathstinger
