Will there be more "AAA games" from China? Are there any news?

As far as i've seen on youtube, there's 2 other big games coming up:
- phantom blade zero
- where winds meet

i'm sure game science will also make further games too

I have read on Twitter that there are 2 DLCs coming to Wukong and they are preparing a new game called Black Myth Jiang Ziya as well.

But if it's true, I have no idea, I wish it is tho.

i think its hard to work on 2 different task, it might be DLC or new game, not both.

FromSoftware literally were making 2 GOTY games at once lol, I know that Game Science is much smaller, but still, they managed to create such an amazing game with so few people that nothing is impossible for these guys.

the thing with this game is, many building / scene / item require their team to visit the location and record them down. not drawing from someones imagination.
many of these places are all over the tourist attraction location across china.
many items are sitting in different museum across china.
its little time consuming work compare something out of imagination.

I am sure that after such huge success from Wukong, they will hire ton of new people so I think that it might still be very possible to do all this stuff.

The thing about China is that once one thing has been proven to work, you'll see a whole bunch of investment in to attempt to duplicate the success. You see it from the Gacha market. It's incredibly cutthroat, with hundreds of Chinese studios popping up and go through a Hunger Games type of battle to see which can win market share. Of the 100s of these studios that will pop up, maybe a few will survive and the rest will go bankrupt. But the ones that survive will deliver great products because if they don't, they'll go bankrupt like their old competitors.
So yes, you can expect a whole bunch of Chinese AAA games in the future.

Check out Project DT. It was announced 3 years ago and is quite far along. It's going to show up like nowhere as another AAA Chinese made game.
