Word on the street is that NG+ is easy, NG++ is fair, and NG+++ starts to become challenging because you can no longer upgrade.

I also think that they made NG+ easier for those who want to 100% the achievements.

I think it's very lazy done like Fromsoft does.

They could do so much better than this:
- Balance the entire game so that you don't spend 90% of the game on ultra weak enemies and bosses
- Use a variant of the heat system from Hades with lots of difficulty options each with a difficulty score attached to it and give cosmetic rewards (for example) for beating the game above some score threshold. Difficulty options could be basic things like % increase to enemy lifes, defense, attack ect or more spicy like new harder bosses version, less gourds, a limit to max level, less dodging I-Frames ect, time limits etc....

It would be a lot more interesting

If you complete the game three times with the full ending (erlang)
You'll get a fully upgraded destined one in ng+4. And this one gets to quib like wukong would. Ridiculing enemies and talking and whatnot..

max level is 342 which is the max predicted age of Sun Wukong i think

Technically speaking you cannot fully max out all spirits in NG+4 though. But useful ones yes. In NG+4 you unlock the true wukong stance and small additional dialogs here and there. And it is near elder ring difficulty. Boss will two hit KO you, the only viable build is total defense build.

i killed Erlang on ng+3 right now, that was hard. no magic. only wand. with the restraining order technique
