The hardest boss in this game is ...
it isn't the janky perfect dodges (there is blindfold to help, btw)
it isn't the lack of response in dodges, spells, etc
it isn't hunger games
it isn't the mobs
it isn't the huge bosses with one foot dps dot, etc...
it isn't even the story bosses at all...

The hardest boss in this game is the camera. That is the real final boss.

I'm not mad - just saying, I hope they learn by feedback and improve the camera, and a few other core elements. I'd be happy with just improving the camera. I know this game is dodge based- I don't depend on that mechanic anymore. Or any of them - too unreliable.

Camera is fine if you don't go in corners ... I'm more trigger at lock points that make you miss all your hits because the mob is big and it whiff for some reason and you can't target anything else

I really have no issues with the camera at all. For particularly large enemies, I just toggle target lock off. I don't quite understand why people struggle so much with this.

It can get to a bad angle in some situations yes, but most of them are preventable theoretically and all in all it does not happen very often. The only fight where it really bothered me for a bit was the right monk hand.

You forgot the other Super Secret Boss....

The Hitbox (Made In China)!

The camera is probably at its worst in the Giant Shigandang fight. Like why does it constantly autolock and goes crazy... Spent more time fighting the camera than the "boss".

Disagree. It isn't always a issue - but it is an issue and many ppl have it...

I don't have a problem with it being made in China by Chinese ppl. I don't have an issue with Han or Han descended tribes. I'm not lost in the desert.

Screw the camera...the ♥♥♥♥ hitboxes are the true enemy. Scorpionlord I am looking at you...could be standing on some of the bosses head and someone you sometimes do not hit anything...also been behind the boss and been hit by a frontal attack.....

between the two - blind dps'g/etc just rips me right out the game.

i'm not toggling off during a slim chance dps moment.

So - you were bothered...

Yes...for a few seconds during my otherwise splendid ~70 hours so far (still going). Not really an issue

Thanks for your input - it doesn't change mine or other ppls experience. It may be related to play-style/stance, etc.

ill admit my pc isnt even recommended specs but its plays fine on my i5 9600 and gtx970 but will say as a coherent and would say decent at reflex based dodge mechanics i have never seen a game like elden ring and soulsborne (the only exception being bloodborne) that will drop frames so badly that is almost 5 fps during one moment and one alone and that during boss damage mechanics it will goes from a smooth 59 60 frames during the boss fight then when they go in for an attack and the moment you are meant to hit the dodge for the perfect dodge mechanic booom that second and that only second frame rate drop not sure if its my pc but ive never had an issue with games like this in the past
