and play this like music dance drumbeat rhythm game
dont spam too much attack button unless opponent is knocked off balance/ immobilized
during boss's average speed combo
always just do 1 hit and have ur finger on dodge button to ready for incoming attack.
That being said, you can try watching some guides and strats online that are really helpful. Use the wind chime vessel, use all your spells whenever they reset. Stance attacks are also great, especially thrust. Study attack patterns and time your dodges! Good luck! I know you can do it!
Give it another try later without a trainer and I'd bet you'll find yourself much improved (As long as you're still engaging with the mechanics and not face tanking everything)
I’m finding it to be very helpful for having fun. I’ve only turned it on for a boss after I’ve made a few attempts at it.
The rest of the game it isn’t even running.
The trainer lets me progress and experience the game rather than spend multiple irl days just banging my head on the same boss over and over.
I did manage captain what his name (laser dude), without help.
Otoh that boss on the frozen lake I did crutch through it after my 5th fail.
My hand-eye coordination isn’t what it was a few decades ago. I still like these games.
Some built in difficulty setting would sure have been nice.
