What are the bosses in chapter 6 snorting?

I skipped chapter 3 secret boss, since I couldn't get past him. Decided to just start working on chapter 6 for now. But what the F are the bosses here snorting?

I currently can't even get past the stupid red hand head thing after the very first shrine... No time to heal, 2 minute long combo chains, and when he does that red flame/arena thing it's super annoying to actually bloody see what is happening.

This game is giving me more stress and annoyance at this point then enjoyment. I just want to have a nice time beating some things. Not get killed for an hour straight without ever getting any decent progress. Boss design just feels so incredibly off in difficulty (but imo, and I'll probably get ♥♥♥♥ for this, giving something a 25 combo string and 3-4 hit kill potential isn't a good way to do difficulty)

Breezed through chapter 4, aside from 1 or 2 bosses. Chapter 5 I had more difficulty killing that final Cart than any of the actual bosses, both normal and secret area. Now the very first fight in chapter 6 is this annoying thing that I can't progress past after already giving up on chapter 3 secret for now...

You are in for a treat in Chapter 6. The very first boss is quite strong and can dish out a lot of damage very fast. There are much worse things to come later in the chapter. There is one insect-type boss that has massive damage output and is extremely aggressive.

So I managed to beat this red hand head thing finally. What a pain with those insanely long combo strings...

But I used the fan to instantly cancel his red flame/arena trick and stun him for a moment. Then Spellbinder to stomp his HP to 0.
