Could someone explain transformation skills work?

I dont really understand it.

So the 'main' skills, the one in the middle, do they only count for transformations or do they also count for the monkey in normal form? Like + poison dmg, reduce CD of spells etc?

and evergreen and might fortification just let u stay in transformation longer, i guess? And hidden might just extends the duration of the transform by giving more might? And might retaining is when u de-transform u retain the might that wasnt spend?

Also, the potions that grant u might, should you use them in transformation form? Or can u also use them in monke form?

Any other transformation know hows would be welcome!
