Controller Issues On Wukong
I am having an issue where randomly my controller will lose all input, and my character will be stuck running the last directional input I used so I pause with the keyboard and for a minute or two, my menu is stuck flipping through in one direction over and over as well. Going to settings and bringing up my cursor seems to fix the never-ending movement input, but then I am still without any controller input at all. Unplugging and plugging back in doesn't even fix the issue.
I have tried using PS5 and XBOX controllers and the issue persists. After waiting for sometime, it seems to come back randomly, then I'm just left waiting for the next time it goes out. Steam input is turned off due to a friends recommendation and it only seems to be doing it on this game. I tested both controllers on mortal kombat 1 and it never happened. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

What is your controller? Mine is the XBOX wired controller and as long as I remove Steam Input in my settings on Steam it works great.

I have a xbox one wireless controller plugged in with a usb-c, and a wireless PS5 controller plugged in with usb-c as well and steam input for both us turned off.

Damn - I was hoping it would be as simple as removing Steam Input on your settings. In this case just pose the question on Google to see if other Steam Players have had that issue and know how to resolve it.

idk i didn't face the running thing but i did come across my RT being stuck sometimes while playing. I just simply pause the game unplug and replug my controller and it is fixed.

I’ve had the same issue with a ps4 wireless controller.

I just assumed the battery was low, but plugging it in didn’t help. Had to restart the game.

sounds like a bug.

Did anyone find a fix for this?

Weird, Im using Xbox Elite (1st gen, not Elite 2) wired and I haven't really had any issues. Aside from this game just being slow as hell with certain actions/animations to react.

You could try installing DS4Windows, if you don't already have DSX and see if tweaking the controller in DS4 will help. Or if DS4 can show just what's being activated randomly on your controller.

I have the same issue with my DS4 controller, but it's been only happening since today, the past 2 days I had no problem at all and played for ~6 hours each day. Not a single disconnect.
Tried everything I could find to fix it but to no avail. Tried with or without DS4Windows, disabling/enabling Steam input. Nothing seems to work, the controller is fine as I tested it in other games.

Im using a wireless ps4 controller and I already stopped playing the game because I never know if the controller wont stop functioning. Sometimes is just a big input lag, sometimes the camera moves by itself, the character starts running one random direction, and sometimes it works just fine, but the tension of having to deal with this is pissing me off so I stopped playing. I tried using DS4, i tried enabling and disabling steam controller, I tried everything people say that can help, but still didnt. I guess I'll have to wait for corrections from the developers, or maybe buy a differente controller? I dont know what to do

I use a wireless xbox controller and the only issues I have is it's constantly removing the lock on from me. I think that's more about my game settings though than the controller. That, or while I'm moving camera I just unwittingly press it.
