Cyan Loong damage output is insane
Once he powers up with electricity his attacks literally two shot. Why? I can confirm that I have not been inflicted with shock and he will still do two shot damage with basic attacks. Its completely ridiculous.

I can't. I'm doing this because I can't beat the Duskveil. In searching for way to beat that I've read not only should I be 5 levels higher but also its a good idea to have the Golden Loong staff, for which I need to beat this guy and Yellow Loong.

I can't find a single item that does that. And it would have to be like, 90% resistance to have any meaningful difference. I'm talking literal two shots here. More than half my health.

Again..... two shot.... I would need to quadruple my current health for that to make a difference.

I thought he was pretty tough, but only took a few attempts. Save your magic for when he powers up and learn his patterns. I find that this is the best way to deal with hard bosses. They are designed in such a way that you'll learn more and more by just trying again and that you may actually feel yourself progressing every new attempt or every few attempts. Assuming you're paying close attention to his patterns/animations/quirks at least.

I used "A Pluck of Many" to beat him until half HP, then when he tried to imbue his sword with electricity I will use wind tamer to stop him.

Cyan Loong does in fact do a lot of damage, and some of his attacks seem to be very poorly telegraphed. However, his fastest, most damaging attacks always come out when he's holding his sword in a reverse grip, so if you see him switch his grip, ease off a little, he is going to do the flying charge move that will absolutely chunk your health, so back off to give yourself enough time to react, or cloud step off to the side to bait him and punish.. Other than that, use the wind tamer, it doesn't just cancel yellow sage's winds and knock enemies back, it also gives you a LOT of damage resistance when active. Use tranformations and spirit skills to increase your longevity while getting some damage in. The spearbone spirit lets you power through MOST attacks without taking any damage. Those are all things I used to beat him.

Spell Bind and stay almost under Duskveil, a little behind him. Yellow Loong seems hard if you play normally, but is actually very easy once figured out. Yellow only reacts to the player. Just maintain distance and spam fully charged heavy
