Stuck in the great pagoda

after beating wise voice i went through the great pagoda and moved on. i then realized i hadnt spoken to the guy at the beginning of the pagoda realm after beating his former subordinate so i traveled back. when trying to continue the game the furthest i can travel to is the great pagoda and the exit i used to move on before doesnt seem to be working.

I'm finding difficulty to figure out what the issue is, you should just be able to teleport back to where you were

Use the incense trails talisman in your inventory to get out.

i can use the shrine to travel but it is not showing an area beyond the great pagoda. IE: i cant progress through the great pagoda and have no fast travel points to travel to beyond it.

The great pagoda isn't the endpoint. There's a way to progress in the snowy area between the mani wheel and the pagoda.

thanks. i feel kinda dumb now but i thought the area beside the shrine with wooden steps had an exit to it. i must have been wrong. i blame sleep.
