i use less charged smash with his boss, i spend like 90% focus points on counter attack
and all equipment all skills on gaining more focus generation
But well at least I suceeded without after lot of attempt and rage
I'll be sure to note this once I beat it myself.
so its gonna like 2 games.
one with some mad bosses ,who cheat and bash players around
second with patched bosses
Struck a nerve, herr rat? Don't let an old crow get you down.
My main strategy was to just git gud for the first part of the boss and use no magic. Then after he transformed I would unleash the clones, the auto-attack thing you summon with right trigger + left stick and immobilized the dude here and there. From there on it was just a slaughter and by the time the clones disappeared he only had a few hits left to go, which I finished with my transformation magic. The supermode he goes into is incredibly hard to deal with, but by doing what I did he's knocked out of it in no time.
His attacks were very annoying to learn how to read, but he doesn't have quite as many different ones as Yellow Looong. Well, maybe he does later in the fight... but I sorta powered through that. Do keep in mind that my clones were 'almost' fully upgraded (save for 1 extra clone I could get at the cost of even more mana, but the magic's already expensive as is and 1 more clone really wouldn't make a large enough difference in damage to justify the extra cost. In fact that's also why I haven't upgraded the immobilize spell fully).
