There's 1.5mln players ingame right now, making it nr.1 by player count above cs2, so i would say it's not dead.

True. Just checked it. 1.4 5millions on my screen. I was questioning about the activity in the forum. I guess there's nothing to discuss. It is boss run game. Meanwhile Sekiro still has players complaining about difficulty and quitting the game.

Which brings me to speculate. How is Wukong beating CS GO? Not even Elden Ring had 1 million+ concurrent players. No other single player game reached 1.4 millions. This is rare. This would make Wukong the most played single player game on Steam.

This forum was flooded with trolls from day zero, that not only pushed many people away but once the trolls got bored/banned the traffic slowed down

There is no definite meaning to it. I can say a game is dead with the implication being people are not playing/discussing about it. People mostly use it for online game but there is no loss of meaning when using it for offline game.
