Lantern warden in Chapter 3.

I thought there were supposed to be 2 lantern warden. And our health bar only depletes when they are near by. But every time, I only see 1 lantern warden and my health depletes even when it is far from me. I just found the second shrine, and every time, I try to kill the cyan bat and yaksha archer, I get headache and boom I fall down the wooden platform. Please help. Is it a bug or what?

So you talking about the Pagoda realm right? thats chapter 3.
And its not the Lantern Wardens doing the half health, red eyes thing .... its the boss on top.
Also fyi if you kill all Lantern wardens you get a curio thats missible cuz they only appear during the effect n well killing the boss stops that from happening.

Just run past all the BS (love that game mechanic) get to the shrine at the top, beat the boss and then go back to clean up. The cells will be unlocked then.

The laser show captain unlocks them.. not captain wise. That thing only kills the berserk mechanic with the lantern guys.
