Is not being able to equip already crafted staff a bug or not?

It is not possible for me to equip old staffs, is that normal? i can craft them again, but WTF? That is not how it should work imho.

every staff has multiple path or upgrades, it changes the staff, so if u want to "undo" that change for a different path, u have to craft it later again, cause u have to "rebuild" that staff

no it shouldnt. you changed the staffs properties. your gonna get more than enough materials to where its not an issue.

well you don't have like... 10 staffs. you have 1 staff, ONE! and so if you want another staff you need to recraft it into something else

btw how huge are your ears?

A staff with an upgrade tree can only be one of the tree options at a time, it's a single staff after all.
If you want another staff in the tree, you will have change your current staff into the new one. If you have crafted the desired staff before, the game makes it easy for you to craft it again by asking only simple materials and a small amount of will (unique materials from the previous staff are returned when you change it into another staff).

It was just weird that i can equip whatever armour i already crafted, but its not the case for the staffs, seemed like a bug to me
i cannot recall any game in which you need to craft things over again once you have them

It was just weird that i can equip whatever armour i already crafted, but its not the case for the staffs, seemed like a bug to me :cupup:
i cannot recall any game in which you need to craft things over again once you have them

im not worried about materials, bui it seemed weird to have to craft already owned upgrade again

Incorrect, you get at least one other staff later that can be modified separately. Probably others as well, including...The Spear from the Chapter 2/3 quest
