As you said, you can farm 5-6 trash mobs over and over to get some sparks but then where to put it? You get som weird see through mechanics which I am not able to utilize during boss fights. Maybe I am bad bud boss fights are so far dodge dodge dodge do some 2-3 chain attack dodge again...
By the way, against tiger in blood arena if this is what you mean use the armor which heals you while in water (blood counts as water)
OP obviously hasn't played.
No, those few cryptic sentences from random npc-s are not "good portion" at all.
You do not need to farm for anything unless you really want to. I only farmed some Mind Cores from area in Chapter 2 because I wanted to make the game easier by maxing out HP increasing medicine you can craft. It is a good spot to farm and you get experience as well along the way. Herbs can be freely used as you pick them up as you will eventually get to a point where you will be able to harvest them in a special areas--you will eventually find out hidden village location where one vendor will accept seeds and grow herbs for you, it is accessible in chapter 3 after completing a quest for an NPC.
Another important thing is that you can freely change your build so you should only have points in the main skills that you are using. If you switch to new weapon, spell or transformation you can just spec out of old ones and save points. This greatly improves efficiency of skill points use and reduce need for points as you should not have locked points in redundant skills.
But I do understand what you mean by the environment feels controlled and there is no open areas of the map as of right now, but I have simply not run into any problems with the game 3 chapters in that weren't my own foolish play or lack of skill.
Him comparing it to a mobile game structure already shows he's just a troll. The invisible walls are a downside, but really only because they make it hard to determine where you can and cannot go. If there was a clearer indication it wouldn't be an issue. And even as is I'd say it's still a minor issue.
Too bad that potions and some leveling is not useful- mainly it is dodge and get licks, but there are some ways to get those sweet Heavies in also. For example the end of cpt3- enjoyed braking his rock statue a'' with Thrust.
Potions are useless and I got the final conformation with the final boss in cpt3- you go in too hard(crit and dmg boost bosses) and they go on alternate patterns, which isn´t good at all.
Overall good game besides Doom´16. Last time I had so much fun just from game play and not boring cinematic experience was in the 90s ;)
