how do i disable the purple wall thats blocking me

Well, this most likely mean you have triggered final boss scene before you picked up the talisman. This means the quest is bugged and you are not able to finish it. I hope this will get fixed in next patch as well as several other side-quests progression bugs.

If you are on PC, you can use back-up saves made by the game if you have not progressed too far away. There is real-time back-up that have several save points 10 minutes apart and then there is hourly back-up with several saves as well.

Look, I understand reading comprehension is touchy subject for many young adolescents. Read some books, ask your school teacher for help or talk to other people about your experience.

I would point you to part of my post where I said "most likely", which indicates it is one of the possibilities and not the only cause.
There were quite a few posts that discussed this issue and my answer was generally agreed as one of the causes. I actually confirmed this myself as I accidentally triggered the cut scene leading to the boss and when loaded back into the game after shutting the game down , I went up the stairs only to find the talisman blocked by a purple barrier even if I have collected all 3 previous talismans. When I used back-up save that the game creates, luckily the game creates back-up save every 10 minute for the last played hour, the talisman was unprotected and I could pick it up.

Anyway, if OP just missed one of other 3 talismans, good for him/her as that is easy fix, just go pick it up.

Wrong. Once you trigger the fight with the last boss you can't complete that quest anymore no matter if you had previously collected the other 3 talismans, so it's either intended to work like that (poor design) or a bug.

Wrong. Once you trigger the fight with the last boss you can't complete that quest anymore no matter if you had previously collected the other 3 talismans, so it's either intended to work like that (poor design) or a bug.

Wrong. I triggered the final fight, realized that I missed the last talisman, peaced out, and was able to finish the quest.
