I'm 20 hours in and have had no changes in the performance really.
Ive had similiar problems + audio problems.
Moved the game install from HDD to SSD now everything works perfect.
Maybe my hdd is faulty or the game is really demanding on storage performance
You saved my life, I was getting 120fps at 2160p DLSS at 85/Quality Cinema/High I was freaking stock early today. Came back to the game and I couldn’t barley get 60.. I was so mad I reinstall Drivers and the game. I didn’t even want to play it no more. Searching for answer with google and this answer you gave me fix the damn issues. It’s RT, RT medium puts me at about 75-80, nope I want 120 turn that jump off because I’m not lowering the DLSS I like it 85 quality. Thank soooo much.
-- > Ishura, please check the following comment. It is surely the solution you need.
Thank you so much! BinaryJay, your solution is the correct one. I have an rx 6800xt and I had the same problem mentioned in the thread.
While RXs have ray tracing capabilities, enabling it on Wukong lowers performance a lot. Disable ray tracing, restart the game and you should be able to play without any issues.
The game has path tracing, so the lighting is amazing without ray tracing.
Path tracing IS ray tracing, it's the most complete form of ray tracing you can use where everything is lit with ray tracing and nothing is rasterized. "Full RT" is just the newer term for "Path Tracing", they are the same. All current AMD hardware is a generation or more behind in terms of performance so using Full RT/Path Tracing (which is just a lot more RT) exacerbates that particular weakness.
