Input Delay on PC Controller
I'm starting to notice a lot of other players mentioning this and have found that there really is some kind of input delay happening while using controller.

I started to notice this in Chapter 3 while trying to dodge and fight against Non-Able and the Tiger Blacksmith. Comparing my dodge input timings to a lot of these other great videos I've seen on YouTube I noticed something was absolutely off.

In the middle of the fight I said "screw it" and grabbed my mouse and keyboard and to my astonishment my dodge inputs were significantly better than on controller. It was a night and day difference, and I actually went on to beat Non-Able in the same fight without dying.

I went back to the Tiger Blacksmith and again had the same experience on keyboard, having almost no input delay on my dodges and having a way easier time beating him as well. So there definitely seems to be something happening and I'm not sure what is causing the input delay with my controller vs my keyboard (which has been in wireless mode btw).

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this or has found a fix for it?

Beat the game almost twice now with no noticeable issues. Bluetooth, wireless xbox controller win11, vsync on 144 fps, reflex on and I play by swapping between traditional hold and claw hold.

Its a SCUF Envision Pro controller. I have it plugged in most of the time. It has a layout design like a PlayStation controller but the buttons are labeled like an Xbox controller. Steam registered and labeled it as an Xbox 360

What is the option for Reflex that you are referring to? Nvidia reflex? I don't see that option in settings.

I used a PS5 for this one, i just found that initially it seemed like it was delayed but it was really just the input not going through because i was in the middle of an attack. After that just got the feel for it and never had an issue after.

Just a bit wonky since some attacks in the basic string are a harder commit than others

You can change to Input Type B in game controller settings for PS prompts

Yeah I'll be the first one to admit that it could really just be a ME thing, but I saw a lot of other Reddit posts popping up over the last week and wanted to see what everyone else's findings were here.

Dodging for me just doesn't feel consistent right now for some reason and I thought maybe it was my devices.

Kind of obsessed with the game either way right now. It's been a lot of fun. You can really feel the love from the developers for this story and that's really rare to find now a days.
